The origin of the language is "Sanskrit ",Popularly termed as Mother of IndianLanguages,the history and origin of the language is inscribed here in Bengali,--- বাংলা ভাষার উৎপত্তি--অতি প্রাচীনকালে আয`জাতির লোকেরা ভারতবষে` প্রবেশ করে এবং বসবাস করতে আরম্ভ করে এদের ভাষা ছিল প্রাচীন আষ` ভাষা. এই ভাষায় প্রাচীন বেদ রচিত হয়.কিন্তু সে ভাষার কোন ব্যাকরণ ছিল না.বহু বছর পর পাণিণি নামক এক ব্যক্তি প্রথম ব্যাকরণ রচনা করে ভাষাকে একটা রূপ দান করেন.তখন সেই ভাষার নাম হয় সংস্কৃত ভাষা. এই সংস্কৃত ভাষা থেকে বিভিন্ন ভাষা আসে,এবং তখন বাংলা ভাষারও উৎপত্তি হয়. পৃথিবীর যত ভাষা আছে তার মধ্যে বাংলা ভাষা অন্যতম. বাংলা ভাষা বিশ্বসাহিত্যের মূল্যবান ভাষা .
